Guernica has been nominated for two Edmonton Sterling awards for its performance last summer at the Edmonton Fringe: Outstanding Fringe New Work (Erika Luckert) and Outstanding Fringe Director (Jon Lachlan Stewart).

We look forward to bringing the show to Swift Current, Winnipeg, and Vancouver this summer!

GUERNICA - the play.

On April 26, 1937, a small Spanish town was attacked by aerial bombers. Nearly everything was destroyed, but from the rubble came creation: a painting, one that would preserve the town’s people beyond any human lifespan. This is the story of that creation – the story of Picasso’s Guernica.
